Little Monkey Figurine

This is a fun figurine made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. It is of a begging monkey and was first designed around 1926 and this piece is from that time period. Not an easy to find piece and this one here is especially nicely hand painted! The skinny monkey is standing on a grass base with its arms raised and the tail supporting him in the back. A superbly modeled piece and perfectly painted to be really cute and elegant! The figure is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as numbers 616 over 0. The piece is in perfect condition. The figure is 3.5 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
