Lion w/ Shield Figurine

This is a figurine of a lion holding the Bavarian shield made by Nymphenburg around in the mid 20th century. While the lion holding the shield is a common figurine found made by them this model I ahve never come across. It is nice with the facial expression of the lion having a ton of detail - he looks rather grumpy! The base is an interesting shape having a flat back so it can sit right against a wall or something. Nice figurine, nice detail and left in the white to show it all off with just that little bit of blue on teh shield to make it pop :) The figurine is marked on the back of the base with the impressed shield mark, another impressed shield underneath as well as the model number 2102 over 6 with the green shield mark with the name Nymphenburg under it. The piece is 4.75 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. The figurine is in perfect condition! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
