Large Pekinese Dog Figurine

This is a figurine of a dog made by Nymphenburg in the later 20th century. It is the sitting version of the Pekinese dog originally modeled by Konrad Schmidt in 1927. An amazing piece that is quite large with lots of detail and hand painted to perfection. One of the cuter dogs I have ever seen in porcelain. The dog is 7.25 inches tall, 6.25 inches wide and 10 inches long. It is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the number 632 over 31 underneath it. Also marked with the green shield mark with the word Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg and the letter F under the shield and the artist initials K.S. for Konrad Schmid.The figure is in perfect condition!
