Large Cat Figurine

This is a superb figurine of a cat (likely a Persian or Himalayan ) made by Nymphenburg around 1950. It was first designed by August Goehring and is probably the nicest cat I have ever seen in porcelain. Very well modeled and painted just enough to make it look real with those piercing blue eyes :) The kitty is 11.125 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 7.25 inches deep so rather large. It is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the model number 567 with 5 over it and the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg and Western Germany which dates it to right after WWII. The figure is in perfect condition same as the day it left the factory :) Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $2499
