Teabowl

This is a tea bowl made by Nymphenburg in the 18th century. It is handpainted and strikes me as having been made for the Middle Eastern market. Nice panels of floral arrangements and a gold and puce design are separated with lots of gilding in different designs. The inside rim has a little gilding and there is a gold flower on the bottom inside as well. The cup is in superb condition with just a little wear to the gilding. It is marked with the impressed shield mark be it very faint, an impressed 1 as well as an impressed VI. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
