Kingfisher Bird Figurine

This is a really superb figurine of a Kingfisher bird made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. One of my favorite birds anyway and this model by Nymphenburg is the best there is in porcelain! The modeling detaila nd colors are amazing. The bird is sitting on a white base - not sure what it is supposed to be. Some sort of ice probably and it makes the colors of the bird itself pop even more! The figure is 5.375 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2.875 inches deep. The figure is marked with the impressed shield mark to the front that was colored blue as well as underneath with the model number 187 (?) and the number 9 impressed. Also the green shield markw ith the name Nymphenburg under it and Western Germany under that. The figure is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
