Greyhound w/ Young

This is a great figurine of a whippet or greyhound made by Nymphenburg in the early to mid 20th century. You see the single dogs from time to time but this piece is quite hard to find! It is of a mother dog with is young perhaps and superbly modeled likely after P.J. (Pierre Jules) Mene. A very well modeled figurine and in perfect condition which always adds to a piece like this. The piece is 5.25 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide and 6.75 inches long. It is marked with the impressed shield mark on the front side of the base as wel as underneath with the model number 760 over 8 impressed. There is also the green shield mark under a crown with the word Nymphenburg underneath that. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1249
