Great Dane Dog Figurine

This is a figure of a dog made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It is a Great Dane and he is superbly modeled and painted to perfection. One of the most impressive dog figurines I own. The dog is 8.5 inches tall, 3.875 inches wide and about 6 inches long. Marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the number 633 over 8 underneath it. Also marked with the Western Germany in greeen so he dates to just after WWII. The figurine displays perfectly but it has the usual glaze flaws and glaze crazing - not sure why this model always has glaze crazing while most others don't.
