Unusual Winter Figurine

This is a very unusual figurine made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. I have not come across this model as one of the four seasons since it is usually a standing male putto with a coat that represents it but her we have a sitting female putto. The figure is modeled as the putto sitting on a rock with one leg to the back and the other stretched out front warming her hands over a burner filled with coal. Typical flat base with scrolls to it. Can't find this model in my searches either so definitely not one you come across often. a nice change of pace! She is in perfect condition which is always a plus! The entire piece is nicely modeled with lots of superb detail. The figurine is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as the usual impressed numbers - 2074 over 3 in this case as shown. The entire piece is 3.375 inches tall, 2.625 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
