Bustelli Girl Bust Figurine

This is a bust of a child (I think the sister of Friedrich August der Starke aka Frederick the Strong) modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli and made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. The figure is superbly modeled and left in the white to show off all that detail. I especially enjoy the flowers in her hair! It is marked on the front of the base just udner the little openings with the impressed shield mark and again with the impressed shield mark to the underside along with with their green shield mark with Nymphenburg and Western Germany under that. The model numbers 929 over 0 is underneath, too. The porcelain bust is 10.125 inches tall, 5.75 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. The piece is in perfect condition with maybe the exception of one point on the ribbon in her hair on the backside. Hard to tell since it is all pointy and rough the way it was made. Either way it does not show at all when on display. The front of the base has three cut out holes and there is one in the back as well. It is a nice touch and helped with the firing process! I think she and her matching brother are the nicest busts in the porcelain world. Extremely well done and very elegant and decorative. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
