Giraffe Figurine

This is a figurine of a giraffe made by Nymphenburg during the mid 20th century. It was designed by Terletzki-Scherf and her initials are impressed in the top front of the base. It is superbly modeled and handpainted and really looks quite real. The piece is 9.25 inches tall, 2.625 inches wide and 5 inches long so rather large. It is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath as well as the model number 667 over 8 and the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath. The figure is in perfect condition.
