Funky Guinea Fowl Figurine

This is a figurine of a guinea fowl made by Nymphenburg during the mid 20th century. I really love this crazy piece and it is unlike any other I have seen. Likely designed by Terletzki-Scherf or so and my dad calls it the rubber chicken :) It is superbly modeled and handpainted and really has lots of superb detail! The bird is 12 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep so rather large. It is marked with the impressed shield mark on top of the base on the right side and an artist mark y is incised around there as well. There is also an impressed shield mark underneath with the number 769 over 9 underneath it. Also marked with the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg. He is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
