Frog Figurine

This is a fun figurine of a frog made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century during the original period. Called a Laubfrosch in German I think here it is called a tree frog. The figure was first modeled by Wilhelm Neuhäuser around 1910. Not a model you come across often and really a superb piece! A nicely modeled figure painted to perfection sitting on a rock base. The figurine is in perfect condition. It is marked with the impressed shield mark painted in blue on the front base as well as the impressed number 469 as well as a number 2 underneath as shown. Artist mark JP. in black to the back of the base. The figurine is 1.875 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and about 2.5 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $449
