French Bulldog Puppy Figurine

This is a figure of a little french bulldog or pittbull puppy (at least I think it is a puppy) made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. A truly cute dog and not one you see often at all! The figurine is superbly modeled and hand painted to perfection! It shows why Nymphenburg dog models are the ebst out there! The piece is 4 inches tall, 3.875 inches long and 3 inches wide and in perfect condition, same as the day he was made. The dog is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as the incised numbers 649, 1 and 16 as well as the green shield mark with Nymphenburg underneath and Western Germany so it was made right after WWII.
