Frankenthal Stag Figurine

This is a figure of a stag / male deer made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century in 1930 to be more exact. Originally modeled in the 18th century by Frankenthal from their large hunting group of figures these were redone by Nymphenburg when they acquired the original molds. It's an extremely well modeled piece with the stag fleeing the group of hunters and jumpink over a tree stump with lots of details to it. Some leaves and moss attached to the stmp and scroll work around the base highlighted with gilding. The stag itself is painted with amazing detail - you can see ever single hair in the fur. As nice a deer figurine as it gets! This figure is in greatt condition with just some damage to a leaf. The piece is 6.5 inches tall, 6.125 inches long and 2.25 inches wide. Marked underneath with the impressed shield mark and impressed numbers 1064a over 8. Also the underglaze blue Frankenthal CT under a crown mark over 1930 as the year mark.
