Frankenthal Model Chinoiserie Figurine

This is a Chinoiserie style figurine made by Nymphenburg from an original Frankenthal model in the 20th century - 1973 to be exact. Described as an Asian gentleman sitting behind a palm tree. He is nicely dressed in a flowing outfit while wearing a hat and sitting on a typical base for this maker with some grasses on it. The palm tree with fruit on it in front. It's a really nicely modeled piece left in the white to show off all that amazing detail. Originally this was modelled in Frankenthal in the 18th century. One rarely ever sees this model. The figure is 4.5 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide and just over 3 inches deep. It is in perfect condition! The figurine is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as the impressed numbers 1173 d over 10 and the under glaze blue CT under a crown mark with the year mark 1973 as shown.
