Frankenthal Winter Figurine

This is a figure of a putto made by Nymphenburg in 1954. He is superbly modeled with tons of detail and not a common model at all. After an old Frankenthal model of the 18th century and meant to represent winter of the four seasons. He is wrapped in a cloth and warming his hand over a little fire on the side while standing on a typical base with some gold scrolls along the edge. A great figurine! The figure is 4.625 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Marked with the impressed shield mark, impressed numbers 1385 over 3 as well as the CT monogram under the crown and the year mark 1954. The piece is in perfect condition.
