Superb Fortuna Figurine

This is a really nice figurine of Fortuna made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. A very hard to find figure that is really well modeled and hand painted. The perfect figurine for right now since she was the goddess of fortune and the personification of luck in the Roman religion. Off course she was originally done by the famous Bustelli as many of their best figures were. Some of the finer details are the cloth between her hands and under her mid section, a globe that she is kneeling on and a bag of coins as well as a manacle and chain on the base. The pedestal base is really nice as well with the Bavarian shield to the front and three floral arrangements to the other sides. A really nice figure that is ahrd to find and looks great. The piece is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark and has the impressed numbers 777a over 26 as well as some other painted numbers and letters as shown. Another impressed shield mark to the center front of the globe. The figurine is 6.875 inches tall, 2.125 inches wide and deep. The piece is in perfect condition!
