Flute Player Figurine

This is a figure of flutist made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. Originally modeled by Resl Schroeder-Lechner around this period. The flute player is nicely modeled and left in the white (pure white not off white as the photos show) to show off all that superb detail. The musician is nicely dressed in a coat with loose pants and fancy shoes and wearing a hat. In a relaxed pose while playing his instrument. The figure has the impressed shield mark to the front of the base as well as underneath with the impressed numbers 880 over 0 and the green shield mark under a crown with Nymphenburg under it. The piece displays superbly but the end of the flute is reglued. Not obvious and does not distract from the figurine. The figurine is 8.75 inches tall with the base having a diameter of about 2.625 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
