Bacchus / Fall Figurine

This is a figurine of the wine god Bachus or Bacchus made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. He is meant to represent Fall of the four seasons here but I like it better as a single piece for the wino friend of yours :) He is in form of a putto sitting on an oak keg or barrel with a wine bottle under his arm and a glass of wine in his hand. Grapes covering his private area. Very detailed and life like and left in the white to show off the superb modeling better. Originally modeled by the famous Bustelli and it is an incredible piece! The figurine is 4.375 inches tall, 2.375 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. He is in perfect condition. The piece is marked underneath with the impressed numbers 241 over 3 and the shield mark. There is also an impressed shield on the back of the keg as shown in the pictures. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
