Elephant Figurine

This is a figurine of an elephant made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. Not one you find often especially the painted version. He is nicely modeled and handpainted and I suppose he is meant to be a youngster with no tusks yet but could be a female or a male that has no tusks which I know exists as well. The figure is 3.625 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 5.75 inches long. It is marked with the green shield mark underneath with the name Nymphenburg under that as well as Western Germany so he was made right after WWII. There is also an impressed mark of sorts but I cannot make it out - could be a number or artist initials. The figure is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
