Donna Martina Commedia Dell Arte Figurine

This is a figure of Donna Martina made by Nymphenburg around the late 19th or early 20th century. A very early version of this piece when it was first redone under Baeuml from the old figurines which is why she is smaller in size. She is one of the commedia dell'arte figurines - one of the greatest set of figurines ever designed by Bustelli. Superbly modeled with a nice pose and lots of detail left in the white to show it off perfectly! The figurine has the impressed shield mark underneath and the incised number 87. She displays perfectly but does have a small repair to the top of the bottle she is holding in her left hand. The figurine is 6.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Price is $399
