Cute Fawn Figurine

This is a fun figurine of a little deer made by Nymphenburg during the mid 20th century right after WWII. The model was made by Kaerner who is famous for the best animal figurines out there! The fawn was nicely modeled and is painted to perfection and a new favorite of my daughters (no surprise there!) A very cute piece and one of the nicest I ahve seen in terms of painting. The figure is about 3.875 inches tall, 3 inches deep and 4.125 inches long. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the impressed number 345, impressed Kaerner and the green shield mark with the crown over it and Nymphenburg underneath with Western Germany under that. On the back side of the base the artist initials H. S. The little one is in perfect condition and super cute! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
