Commedia Dell'Arte Bottle Stopper /Cane Handle

This is a superb figural bottle stopper / cane handle made by Nymphenburg around in the 20th century. Originally designed by Bustelli and I beleive one of the commedia dell'Arte characters though I am not sure which one. Looks like a mischievous character that is for sure! It is in the shape of a gentleman's head with a hat on top and a decorative column underneath. The porcelain is in excellent condition but the cork is missing which makes it perfect for use as a cane handle as well now or one could easily add a new cork if one wanted to! The piece is marked in the back underneath the bow with the impressed shield mark as shown. The piece is 2.875 inches tall, 1.25 inches wide and 1.375 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
