Chinaman Drinking Tea Figurine

This is a rare figurine of a Chinaman made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. This is from a series of international figures that you never see pieces from. They are very rare. This piece here is of a Chiense gentleman holding a cup of hot tea in his hand and blowing on it. He is nicely dressed in a traditional outfit with a long flowing blue robe and red underneath. Blue and red cap on his head and a long black braid in the back. Yellow shoes and a plain white base which is marked with the impressed shield mark to the top. It's an amazingly modeled figure and looks super elegant! I own one other piece from this series - a Siamese dancer which I will also list on the site. The piece is 7.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. It is in perfect condition. The figurine is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath as well as the impressed numbers 965 and over 3 as well as the green shield under a crown with the word Nymphenburg underneath it as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1999
