Cupid with Ball in Net

This is a cherub or cupid with a ball or globe in a net while being blindfolded made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. Not sure what this one is supposed to represent - maybe Atlas or something like that. Either way the piece is superbly modeled and left in the white to show of some of the amazing detail that Bustelli's Nymphenburg pieces have. The figure is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as numbers 626 over 3 and another shield mark on the side of the net. The piece is in perfect condition with a tiny black firing spot from the making on the base edge and his chest. The piece is 4.25 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Not one of the common models! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
