Ceres / Summer Figurine

This is a figurine of the goddess Ceres made by Nymphenburg in early 20th century. Floral is the goddess of the growth of food plants and is meant to symbolize Summer in this case here. The figure is of a putto holding a flower in her right hand while holding a wheat sheaf in her left hand. She is standing on a typical base. The figurine is superbly modeled with lots of fine details - originally by the famous Bustelli in the 18th century but this one being a later redo. The figurine is about 4.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. She is in perfect condition. The figurine is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as the impressed model number 265 and 3 as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
