Original Cairn Terrier Dog Figurine

This is a figurine of a dog made by Nymphenburg during the original period in the early 20th century. It is a Cairn Terrier and he is superbly modeled and handpainted. Not a model one sees often especially from this period! The dog is 5.75 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 6.5 inches long. It is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the number 699 over 3 incised underneath it. Also marked with the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg and the artist initials KS for Konrad Schmid. Also signed by the artist that painted him on his left back leg as shown.
