Bunny / Rabbbit Figurine

This is a super cute figure made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century right after WWII. It is of a large rabbit / bunny lying down to relax. The figurine is superbly modeled and hand painted with great colors and detail. It looks amazing and just like the real deal. This figurine is rarly up for sale and has been on my must have list for quite some time! The model was first designed by August Goehring and I really like the coloration on this particular example. There is also a darker version but I don't think it's as nice looking. The figure is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark, model number 2035 with another 2 right over that first 2, the green shield mark with Nymphenburg underneath it and Western Germany under that. A. Göhring impressed as shown and the painter's initials H.S. on his butt. and some red letters / numbers. The piece is in great condition but does have a small flat chip to one of its back toes as shown. Due to the location it is on the underside/backside of the foot when displayed and cannot be seen. The figurine is 5.25 inches tall, 9.75 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1499
