Original Bull Terrier Dog Figurine

This is a figure of a dog (I believe it is a bull terrier though I stink at IDing dog breeds) made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century right after WWII. A rare original period piece which is signed by the artist H.S. in black on the left back paw! He is superbly modeled and painted just right to make him very elegant. Nymphenburg dogs are very lifelike and in my opinion the best ones out there. The dog is 6.75 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 8 inches long. Marked with the impressed shield mark underneath on his belly as well as the model number an a Roman numeral I next to it. It also has the green shield under a crown mark with Western Germany under that. He is in perfect condition with a very hard to spot short firing flaw under the glaze where the tail and body meet as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
