Borzoi Dog Figurine #4

This is a really amazing figure of a Russian Wolfhound or Borzoi made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. He was originally designed by the famous Theodor Kaerner in the early 20th century. His animal models are the best in the porcelain world. This piece has the perfect pose for this breed - lying down with on leg stretched straight out! The modeling is perfect and the hand painted details superb. It really does not come better for a figurine of this breed! The figure is 4.75 inches tall, 4.875 inches wide and 10.625 inches long. It is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark, impressed numbers 10 and 438. It is in perfect condition which is amazing considering the one outstretched leg in front. It's a stunning looking figurine! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
