25Pc Blue & Floral Set

This is a super coffee and tea set made by Nymphenburg in the beginning of the 20th century. It is handpainted with flower arrangments in medallions surrounded with gilding in the form of a line and dots. The main body of each piece is handpainted with a blue ground color that is not too light and not too dark but just right. It is a superb set as you can see in the pictures. There are six cups and saucers, six cake plates, a coffee pot with lid, a tea pot with a lid, a creamer, a sugar bowl with a lid and what really makes the set - a 12 sided tray. The set is in superb condition with the handle of the creamer reglued. No other damage at all. All pieces are marked with either the impressed shield mark or the underglaze shield with the word Nymphenburg underneath as well as impressed numbers and overglaze red marks. The coffee pot is 9.5 inches tall, 7.75 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep including the handle and spout. The teapot is 7.75 inches tall, 8.25 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. The dessert plates are 7.5 inches in diameter. The cups are 2.125 inches tall and just under 4 inches in diameter. The saucers are 1 inch tall and 5.75 inches in diameter. The creamer is 6.25 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep including the handle and the sugar is 4.75 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter.
