Blanc de Chine Winter on Pedestal

This is a very elegant figurine of one of the four seasons made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. It is a figure emblematic of Winter and he is in perfect condition. This is the version that is standing on a tall pedestal which has a relief shield design to the front. The entire piece is nicely modeled with the coat looking like real fur with all the detail to it and left in the white to show it off nicely! The figure is warming its hands over a fire in front of him. The figurine is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as shown.
