Winter on Pedestal Figurine

This is a really nice figurine made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It comes from a series of the four seasons but this is the nicest version of them I think. It is of Father Winter or Old Man Winter representing Winter (obviously) . He has his hands warming in a muff while wearing a cloak with fur along the edges which is hiding a little putto warming himself over a little coal fire. The figure stands on a large pedestal that has musical instruments in relief on all four sides. It is a superbly modelled figurine and looks stunning! This is the blanc de chine version but I assume this also comes in a painted version though I have never seen it. I own Spring as well which I listed on the site already. The figurine is 11 inches tall and the base is 3 inches on all sides. It is in superb condition with a tiny brown firing spot to the bottom of the base and one loop on the bow of his cloak is partially missing though that is not obviou at all! He displays perfectly! The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark to the front of the base right by his feet and underneath as well as the impressed numbers 29 over 0 and the CT monogram under a crown with the year 1959 under it which shows it was made in 1959 and from an old Frankenthal model.
