Ibex Figurine

This is a superb figurine of an Ibex / Steinbock made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. First modeled by August Göhring in 1936. Not a figure you see often at all especially in perfect condition as this piece is here. A great size for this sort of figurine and it is superbly modeled and left in the white to show off all that detail! The animal is standing on a rocky looking base. The figurine is in perfect condition. It is 7.375 inches tall, 5.25 inches long and about 2.5 inches wide. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark on the front of the base as well as underneath and the green shield with the crown above it with Nymphenburg under it and a letter under that but I cannot make it out.
