Blanc de Chine Chinese Lady Figurine

This is a figurine of a Chiense lady - likely a servant - made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. Part of the series of figures I have on the site including the bigwig and priests. The figure comes from a series of 17 or 18 figurines I think - this being one of the harder to find pieces. Originally it was off course modelled by Bustelli in the 18th century. This is the blanc de chine version but this also comes in a painted version though I ahve not seen this one in color before. I own a few other pieces from this series as well and they are probably my favorite figures besides the commedia dell'Arte off course. The figurine is of a lady that is likely one of the servants to the bigwig or possibly a lady asking for an audience with the bigwig on his pedestal. She is dressed nicely in a flowing dress with a bow around her neck and another mostly hidden under her arm on the side. She is wearing some sort of hair decoration as well. Lots of little details and all these folds look so realistic which is why Bustelli is still so famous among porcelain nuts like me :) A superb piece that is stunning and elegant looking. The figure is 4.75 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches long. It is in great condition with the only flaw being that the hidden bow under her arm has one loop damaged. It does not affect the piece at all when on display. The figurine is marked with the impressed shield mark to the top of the base as well as the impressed numbers 380 and over 0. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
