Blanc de Chine Boy Bust

This is a superb blanc de chine bust of a child (believed to be a bust of Friedrich August der Starke aka Frederick the Strong as a child) originally modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli in the 18th century and made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It is marked in the center front of the base with the impressed shield mark as well as underneath with another impressed shield mark and the number 928 as shown. A superb figurine that is superbly modeled by one of the top masters of the craft with lots of nice detail and it is good size for display! Plus I ahve his amtching sister bust that would make an amazing pair for display! The figure is 10.25 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep. The piece is in the same condition as the day it was made. The front of the base has three cut out holes. It is a nice touch! Also marked udnerneath with the green shield mark with Nymphenburg under that aas well as Western Germany under that. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
