Black Ground w/ Puce Flowers Teacaddy

This is a really nice tea caddy / jar made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is nicely shaped and hand painted with a puce floral arrangement to the front and back with a puce trim to the corners and edges. The lid has a nice flower finial with its leves and two painted puce flowers to the top with some puce trim and the black ground to the side. This color combination is one of my favorite and it just doesn't get old. The piece is in superb condition with some very minor flaws from age and when it was made. It displays perfectly! The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as some impressed numbers and the green shield mark under a crown with Nymphenburg under it. The piece is 5 inches tall 3.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
