Male Blackbuck Antelope Figurine

This is a figurine of a male blackbuck antelope made by Nymphenburg during the mid 20th century. I also own the female counterpart which is also on the site. The piece is quite cute with a flowery green base with the little tree underneath and the large eyes of the antelope as well as the long black and white horns - it reminds me of the pieces designed by Terletzki-Scherf but I am not sure if she made this one here as well. The piece is superbly modeled and hand painted and really has lots of superb detail! A stunning and fun figure to look at! The piece is 5.5 inches tall, 2.625 inches wide and 5.875 inches long. It is marked with the impressed shield mark on top of the base in the back though it is hard to see since it is painted over. Also an impressed shield mark underneath with the number 679 over 9 as well as the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath. The piece is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
