Black & Puce Teapot Lid

This is a nice lid for a teapot made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is hand painted with a black ground color with a puce and white trim and has a nice pinecone finial highlighted with puce as well. Great color combination that looks stunning! This color combination is one of my favorite that just doesn't get old. The lid is in perfect condition! Unmarked which is normal for lids but I have other pieces from this service so there is no question on who and when it was made. The piece is about 1.125 inches tall without the underside ring and has a diameter of just under 2.75 inches. The outer diameter of the foot ring that would sit inside the main body of the tea pot has a diameter of a 2.25 inches. It is in good condition but the black ground color has some little bumps and flaws to it from when it was made. Still much better than a broken lid or no lid at all! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $59
