Blanc de Chine Vase

This is an interesting and fun vase made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. Instead of being painted by hand as most of their items would ahve been this one has applied 3D flower garlands that go all around as well as a nicely reticulated top rim. The flwoers are superb and the piece would look amazing with some real flowers in it to add a splash of color to it. Imagine all the work that has gone into making each flower petal and each leaf! The vase is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark, an impressed number 881, another single digit number as well as their green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath it. The piece is in superb condition with a few damaged or broken off petals as would be expected but the piece displays perfectly. The vase is 9.25 inches tall and about 6.25 inches in diameter.
