Moabit Scenic Cup

This is a really nice cup made by Moabit in the second half of the 19th century. Moabit was in Berlin and was founded by M. Schumann and son around 1835 and was around until about 1913. The cup has a superb scene on the front of a huge train station with a nice landscape in front including trees and people. Nice gold trim all around. I do not recall having ever seen such a nice quality scene by them that was also named on the underside which is always nice since we then know what it depicts! The cup is marked underneath with the eagle mark with the letters FaS under it as well as some incised marks on the foot ring as shown. In black is states Bahnhof in Koenigsberg in Preussen - the train station in Konigsberg in Prussia. The cup is in superb condition with a bit of gold wear that does not take away from the piece at all. The piece is 2.875 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
