Miniature Miniature Pigeon Pair Figurine

This is a super cute and fun miniature figurine made by Meissen in the later 19th century. The figure is of a pigeon pair / couple sitting on a little base with some grasses painted on it. Nicely modeled and off course hand painted. A true miniature being only just over 0.75 inches tall, 0.75 inches wide and 0.75 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed / incised marks for this period as shown. The piece is in perfect condition.
