Yellow Tiger Royal Court Plate

This is a rare porcelain soup plate made by Meissen in 1905. It is handpainted with the superb yellow Tiger design made for the Saxon Royal Court. A very color ful design in the Kakiemon style with it covering the entire bowl with Kakiemon style flowers along the rim and a brown trim to the edge. This plate is in perfect condition. It is 1.375 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period and the black writing for the royal kitchen underneath - Koenigliche Hofwirtschaft 1905.
