Woodcut Flowers Bowl

This is an early porcelain bowl made by Meissen around 1750. It is handpainted with a large floral arrangement on one side along with lots of smaller flowers scattered throughout. Gold trim to the rim which has a nice shape to it which makes the bowl look more elegant. The piece is in great condition with some wear to the gold trim and some very minor wear from stacking. The flowers are really nice in the old woodcut style before the Deutsche Blumen style took hold. My favorite flowers are from this period! The dish is 2 inches tall and 9.25 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords as well as an impressed number that is hard to make out. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
