Element of Water Figurine

This is a really nice figurine emblematic of the element of water made by Meissen in the mid 20th century. Not a rare figurine by any means but what is very rare about this piece is that it is in almost in perfect condition - just a tiny thin glaze flake to the bottom edge which is invisible unless you hunt for it. The piece is of a putto holding a fish in his upper hand, another fish in his lower hand, there is a primitive fish trap in front of him and a basket with its straps next to it that has a lobster in it. Two reeds growing out of the base which has lots of scrolls all around highlighted with gilding. This figure is one from the series of elements. I also have air and earth but there is one more out there - fire. The figure is very well modeled and hand painted. It looks stunning on its own or even nicer in the set. The figurine is 4.125 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It is marked with the crossed swords mark underneath the base (first choice) as well as the usual impressed / incised marks, a painter's mark and Germany in blue on the edge. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
