Small Hunting Scene Saucer

This is a small saucer made by Meissen during the Marcolini period in the later 18th century. Must have been for a miniature cup as the saucer is quite small. The piece is superbly hand painted with a hunting scene including two hunters on horses, two more hunters with lances, a few dogs and off course the wild boar being killed all in a landscape surrounding. Nice gold trim to the edge. A very high quality piece that looks amazing and is in superb condition. Just a dark spot in the white area under the scene and another to the underside rim from when it was made. The saucer is 0.625 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the star below as shown. First choice. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
