Amazing Saucer

This is one of the nicest saucers I have seen made by Meissen in about 1740 or maybe even a bit earlier. It has some of the best handpainted woodcut type flowers on the top that are nice and large and very detailed and in the well where the cup would sit it has a great harbor scene painted. This was likely a saucer for an ecuelle or something larger than a regular cup and it has a ring in the center like a trembleuse. Nice gold trim to the rim and four more flowers painted on the underside rim as well as a gold ring around the outside footring. The saucer is marked with the straight blue crossed swords underneath as well as a gold letter and the number 3. There is an impressed 6. on the footring inside. The piece is in perfect condition with a little wear. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 6.5 inches in diameter. The central well has an inside diameter of 2.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
