Superb Frog Figurine

This is a really superb figurine of a frog made by Meissen in the 20th century. Definitely a new favorite of mine. I do believe the model dates back to the 18th century and was made by the famous Kaendler who outdid himself on this one. Perfectly modeled and hand painted to perfection. He looks real and is the perfect size as well. The figure is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed marks and a painter's number in black as shown. The frog is 1.375 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 2.875 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
