Sparrow Bird Figurine #1

This is a really nice bird figurine made by Meissen in the 20th century. The figure is really nicely modeled and hand painted as one would expect from the top maker. It is a sparrow which I remember being all over the place in Germany when I was a kid but don't see very often around here. They used to clean up every little scrap of food :) The bird is perched on a tree stump that has a short branch with some leaves growing out of it and a spot of grass painted on the front. It's a nice looking figurine! The figure is in perfect condition! The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark, a painter's mark as well as the usual impressed marks as shown. It is just under 5.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
